On Thursday 23 February, Asquith Girls High School invites Year 6 students to our High Potential and Gifted Education Enrichment Day. The purpose of this day is to engage students who display high academic potential in a range of extension and enrichment activities that enhance their creative and critical thinking.
Parents/caregivers are responsible for arranging transport to and from this event. Students should arrive at the school at 9.00am and can be collected from the school hall at 2.00pm.
Students should wear their school sports uniform with fully enclosed lace up sports shoes.
Students will be provided with lunch on this day which will include some gluten free and vegetarian options, although students with food allergies or special dietary requirements should bring their own food to ensure that their dietary needs are met. Students should also bring some food for morning tea plus a water bottle, as there will not be an opportunity to use the school canteen.
Attendance at this day will be valuable for any students who are considering applying for the Year 7 2024 Enrichment Class.
