Music Ensembles Program

Music Ensembles Program

Asquith Boys and Asquith Girls High Schools have combined their extra-curricular music ensembles and now deliver an extensive, award-winning music ensembles program - including both separate and co-ed ensembles. This collaborative venture significantly benefits student learning outcomes in music performance. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to maintain friendships they made in their primary school band programs, and make new friends in a structured learning environment. From a performance perspective, we have seen an improved balance of instrumentation and greater sense of teamwork between students in the different sections of the band.
