Asquith Girls High School's award system is called XCEL. Students receive points during each semester in the four areas of excellence, commitment, effort and leadership (see table below). At the end of each semester, the top 10 students from each year group receive an XCEL Award and badge at the assembly held in Week 9 of Term 2 and Term 4. The badges are a different colour for each year group and girls have the opportunity to earn a badges twice a year - Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Students who receive a badge every year from Year 7 to Year 12 will receive an Asquith Gold Award in Year 12. Parents are able to keep a track of their daughter's progress through the Sentral Parent Portal.
