CONGRATULATIONS TO NATALIE P Year 11 - RECIPIENT OF THE PRESTIGIOUS SPORTS BLUE AWARD

We are extremely proud of Natalie and know the huge effort and commitment that has attributed to her receiving this award.

CONGRATULATIONS Natalie!

Below is an excerpt of the citation:

Natalie a year eleven student at Asquith Girls High School is an extremely competent young softball official who currently holds an Australian Softball Association Level 2 accreditation. She interacts respectfully and confidently with all players, coaching staff, and senior umpires, garnering their respect and admiration.

Natalie has represented Asquith Girls High School and Sydney North Schools Sports Association as a softball player. As an umpire she has officiated at numerous tournaments and championships. She has an in-depth knowledge of the game born out of her playing experience. This has assisted her skill development in conflict resolution to a very high level.

Natalie constantly encounters intense game situations that require her calm, confident decision making skills when·dealing with players and adult coaches. She exhibits skills and attributes of officials many years senior to herself. Natalie's dedication and skills have led her to being selected to officiate at numerous NSW Primary Schools Sports Association and NSW Combined High Schools Sports Association softball games, tournaments, and championships. In 2022 and 2023 she represented NSW All Schools at the School Sport Australia Softball Championship. If not for COVID she would have added to these.

Natalie is highly respected for her ability by all in the softball community. Her skills, knowledge, and dedication belie her age. She encapsulates the values of public education and is a worthy recipient of a NSW Combined High Schools Blue for softball.
