Asquith Girls High School is a leader in girls’ education with a culture of excellence in a broad range of fields, including consistently high academic results. In 2021, students from the Year 12 cohort continued the strong history of academic success in the HSC examinations.
A summary of the main achievements include:
Asquith Girls High School was ranked in the top 20 comprehensive schools in NSW
There were 54 students achieving a Band 6 result in at least one subject (which represents a mark of 90% or higher)
The top ATAR was achieved by Allison Carr, with an amazing score of 98.80.
An incredible demonstration of effective learning was displayed by Elin Do, who came 5th in NSW in French Beginners.
These achievements are just a brief snapshot of our students’ successes, and do not fully portray the many individual stories of this cohort. It is important to acknowledge our dedicated and experienced teachers, whose expertise in their chosen fields has played a significant role in these achievements. It is also important to recognise the resilience, focus and diligence of our students throughout their high school journey, especially through the period of remote learning in the second half of 2021.
Most importantly, we want to highlight that this is not the end of the story, but instead is just another step towards these balanced, well-rounded and successful young women becoming empowered to take positive risks and confidently make a difference in the world.
